yesterday I had my 2nd buddha class with Lau and yesterdays class was quite informative even though it was just about 30min. She explained that true buddhist would not believe in God and in my opinion, buddhism is very much like the teaching of moral values. Be good to ur parents, dont be greedy, cannot do bad things to others, cannot drink alcohol(but she said can as long u dont get drunk..ermm..)
Anyway, I tried to introduce a bit here and there about ISLAM along the conversation. So far I realized that she knew a lot about ISLAM and she did have a few misconceptions about ISLAM. She mentioned about the 4 wives where from her opinion, ISLAM is not treating women as fair as how ISLAM treats men.
She also mentioned about ISLAM has 2 kitabs which are the Quran and the Sunnah. I was giggling when she said about the Quran and sunnah, not because it was funny but because she seemed to know even about the Sunnah..huhu quite a lot la this amoi knew about ISLAM. This might ease the process of conveying the Risalah a bit. InsayALLAH...
But I didnt get the chances to explain and clear the misconception. why? there were 2 reasons for that:
1-Had not enough time..class started at 4.30 and at 5 she was rushing back home.huhu
2-She was quite having a lot in her mind at that time and she was eager to spill them all out. So i just let her spilled her mind out(some says I'm a good listener..huhu ye kot).
So tomorrow hopefully I will get the chances again. Not my intention to force her or to drag her to ISLAM but I just want to convey the Risalah and to clear the misconceptions about ISLAM only. I respect her as a buddhist and never down grade her with her believe and way of life.
Those who hav any idea to clear the misconceptions regarding the 4 wives and the Quran and Sunnah, plz give ur opinion. May ALLAH repays you with HIS heaven and showers you with HIS blessing.

pasal 4 isteri, a bit yang I know yang boleh cakap secara mudah faham.
- Lelaki yang benar2 yakin dia mampu berlaku adil je leh ade isteri lebih dari satu.
- concept adil tuh bukan calang2 punye, hatta belah dua tembikai pun kena betul3 sama besar secara matematik nye.
- bukan calang2 orang leh kawin lebih dr satu, kena ade sebab musabab yang kukuh dulu baru leh cari isteri lg. Cth mcam isteri pertama takleh nak hamil ke, atau nak tolong janda susah ke etc2 yang relevan
- sape yang tak mampu berlaku adil seadil2 nye, depan Allah seksok kena soal la.
sebab tu kalau ikutkan poligami ni bukan benda yang mudah untuk dilakukan. Banyak kriteria baru leh teruskan, ini yang Islam tetapkan.
Bukan bertujuan aniaya wanita, malah kalau lelaki kawen lg untuk menjaga maruah wanita yang teraniaya ke ape, itu kan da membela nasib wanita. Jugak meneruskan zuriat kalo 1st wife takleh pregnant.
Sebab tu sebenarnye ape yang Islam gariskan sangat cantik dah dan banyak hikmah, cuma pengganut salah guna. Sma gak dgan agama2 lain termasuk Buddha, bukan sume yang betul2 taat dan ikut pe yang Tuhan suruh.

sunnah bukan kitab kan, ia adalah segala yang nabi cakap, perlakuan, agreement yang kita ambil sebagai benda yang boleh diikuti. Al quran itu kata2 dari Allah. MAlas nak explain, leh google je ni.
Hmm..maybe fahmi leh explain basic thing maksud Quran dan sunnah pada dia, no need to go deeper, bg faham ape itu quran dna ape itu sunnah dulu.
As fikir kan, sume persoalan depa tu fahmi leh rujuk sesape untuk jawapan yang paling logik. Mereka ni mungkin susah nak percaya benda yang tampak, so cuba bg analogi yang mudah nampak dan cuba kait benda2 logik dulu.
Tanyalah ustaz2 dulu atau sahabat2 yang nice fikrahnye (excluding me) sebelum jawab.
Masa yang takde tuh, maybe fahmi leh tulis sume nih atas kertas atau taip, bg pada die untuk baca. So that u wont miss any point compare ngan cakap face to face. Gunalah ayat yang mudah faham dan diterima. elak dulu guna ayat2 quran, sebab depa mmg tak caye quran kan.
